Tim Van Wyngarden has been with Ciber since 2001, when the company he served as Chief Operating Officer was acquired. Adept at large-deal pursuits and complex sales, Van Wyngarden is a Vice President and Market Leader responsible for strategic planning and business development.

Van Wyngarden has more than 15 years of information technology experience. Prior to joining Ciber, he was COO for Century Computer Consultants, a position he filled after being recruited by the company CEO to manage all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations. During his tenure at Century, he nearly tripled the number of billable consultants, a feat that enabled him to achieve a compounded annual revenue growth rate of 28 percent and a 38 percent annual increase in operating income.

Van Wyngarden also has served as director of IT Management Services at IXC Communications, where he held the reins of a $54 million IT budget, plus he gained extensive experience in IT for telecommunications as a contracts expert for Sprint PCS.

Van Wyngarden’s educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the University of Denver.
